Donation & Refund Policy

Thank you for your interest in supporting Legacy Raising Foundation. This Donation and Refund Policy explains how donations are made, processed, and handled. Please read this policy carefully before making a contribution.

1. Voluntary Donations

All donations to Legacy Raising Foundation are entirely voluntary. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless explicitly stated. Your contribution supports the Foundation's mission to help young people develop academically, athletically, personally, and professionally.

2. Tax-Exempt Status

Legacy Raising Foundation is a New Mexico nonprofit corporation. Its application for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is currently pending with the Internal Revenue Service. Until that recognition is confirmed, donations are not guaranteed to be tax-deductible. We will update this policy and notify donors when our 501(c)(3) status is officially approved. Please consult a qualified tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution.

3. Third-Party Payment Processing

Donations made through our website are processed by a third-party payment platform (currently Zeffy). Legacy Raising Foundation does not directly collect or store your payment card information. By making a donation, you agree to the terms and privacy policy of the applicable third-party processor. We encourage you to review those terms before completing your transaction.

4. Refund Policy

Donations to Legacy Raising Foundation are generally nonrefundable. Once a donation has been processed, it is considered final and will be directed toward the Foundation's programs and operations.

However, we understand that errors and exceptional circumstances occur. If you believe a donation was made in error, was a duplicate transaction, or was made without your authorization, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and work with you to reach a fair resolution.

To request a review, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction date and provide:

• Your full name and contact information
• The date and amount of the donation
• A description of the concern or reason for the request

Refund requests submitted after 30 days may not be honored. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method when possible.

5. Recurring Donations

If you set up a recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time by contacting us or managing your subscription through the third-party payment platform. Cancellations will stop future charges but will not result in a refund of amounts already processed.

6. Use of Donations

Donations are used to support Legacy Raising Foundation's programs, operations, and mission. While we make every effort to honor donor intent when a specific program or purpose is designated, the Foundation reserves the right to direct funds where they are most needed to fulfill its charitable mission.
